dosage ?

So, I have done two rounds of 50 mg Clomid and not responded to either of them.  I feel like I am ready to go to 100mg and left a message for my doc about it.  He just called me back and left me a message saying that we will just stick with the 50 mg. 

Should I call him back about it? I don't want to waste more Clomid cycles if I am unresponsive to them.

    are you being followed by an RE? If not please go to one. Clomid is not something to be taken lightly and there's no sense in continuing to take it if you're not responding to it.Most docs wont let you take it for more than 6 cycles so if i were you i wouldnt keep wasting my cycles. GL

    Are you seeing an RE?  That sounds very odd to me that your dr just wants to stick with 50mg when you're clearly not responding.  You're wasting your time and money!  I was on 50mg for one cycle, didn't respond as well as my RE would have liked so he put me on 100mg the next cycle.  If you're not seeing an RE, find one immediately and stop getting infertility treatment through an OB.  OB's are not fertility specialists and tend to hand out clomid like it's candy.  You need a dr that is pro-active!

    Ditto all the pp's...there's no point in taking the 50mg if you're not responding! That's not good Clomid protocol.
