He'll tell us if he has to poop, but he'll just pee in his big boy pants & not care. If we take him every 45 min. or so he'll go, but sometimes he pees even in between. I don't know how to get him to tell me before he goes.
We just finished week 1, and today was thefirst day that DD would say "yes" when I asked her if she needed to go to the potty. When she does have an accidnet she is running right over to me to tell me and then is able to finish peeing on the potty. I would say just keep at it. Maybe set a potty timmer so he learns that when the timer goes off it is time to go and try. That way it is not always you reminding him....just a thought. Keep at it though.
Is it possible he's just not ready? It might be he doesn't recognize the urge now. Maybe keep on with the pooping and don't let up on that but the pee might take longer for him.

This was my thought exactly.
