Pillow Pets?

DS asked me for one tonight...this is the first time he's seen something on tv and asked for it by name. Says he wants the ladybug one. Are they worth $20??

don't have one yet but know a few people that do, I think they are worth it. Cute, pretty decent size too. Toys R Us just started carrying them if you want to check them out there.

No, I bought a similar thing for DS (way before I saw these "pillow pet" commercials) for $10. I'd look around for something similar before spending the money.

They have them at a kiosk in our mall now. DS asks for one every time he sees the commercial. I don't think he'd ever use it so I keep telling him to ask Santa. I'm hoping that by Dec, he forgets about them

DD has the ladybug one. MIL got it for her for Christmas. They are really cute and a good size and SO soft. I really like it but I have no idea if it's worth $20... I think how much it's worth depends on how much your kid likes it/uses it. Maybe look around ebay or local stores and see if you can get it for less, otherwise just get it if it's something that would make your DS really happy. Seeing their face light up is worth any amount of money.

DD has the elephant one. I think it's a pillow pet. She got it for her birthday from my grandma, and she sleeps on it every night.

Emily just got the unicorn one and adores it. It's actually semi-keeping her in her bed, so that alone makes it worth the money;) She is so happy to have it. Now Ben wants one too after seeing hers and seeing his friend's.

My guys got the frog and monkey from my parents. They are cute, made well, and super soft. We took them with us to the shore, and they use them for watching tv on the couch. I think they are worth it. The boys like them.

My mom bought them for my kids and while at first I thought they were silly, now I don't think that way.

They're really soft, the velcro is strong and holds them together, and the kids simply ADORE them.

This is the first thing DD has asked for that she's seen a commercial for (I think they have the commercials on Sprout?).

We got her the bunny and she LOVES it!!! I think it's really cute, and super soft. It seems to be well made, but I haven't had to wash it yet so I don't know how it will hold up.

The only drawback is that she can't turn it from a pillow to a pet on her own, lol. Every once in awhile she will bring it to me and ask me to "make it a pet."

For me, it's totally worth $20.
