the TCOYF software/web app? I've been using Fertility Friend and even purchased the subscription, but I decided to try out the software available through TCOYF . . . copied my information over for this cycle and suddenly my chart is readable! Has anyone else tried the TCOYF software? Liked it? Hated it? I'm thinking of using both for the moment, until I decide for certain which I like better.
Re: Have any of you charted with . . .
I know lots of people who have it and love it!
It is worth a shot, for sure.
I like some of the features of FF better, like the ability to mark intercourse as AM/PM/both etc., which isn't available via TCOYF, but I've noticed FF can make some wonky predictions sometimes; last cycle I was "probably fertile" until the day before my period started.
So, I've been agonizing over my FF chart for the past week because it wasn't making sense and feared I was having an annovulatory cycle . . . lo and behold, once I plugged my information into TCOYF, it was very obvious I was having "mini surges" of LH in preparation of ovulation; still doesn't mean I'll ovulate, I suppose, but at least there is an obvious pattern now.
I am glad you brought this up tonight! I have a wonky chart right now on FF that isn't telling me I O'd though I know I did, and on TCOYF it is very clearly a CD18 O date.
That's great! I think I'll still use both for the moment--we can compare and contrast for the next few weeks: )
TCOYF also has a feature that can adjust your temperature for earlier/later temping times, which is especially helpful to me since my DD has been a horrid sleeper since Day 1 and we never go to bed when I want, get up at the same time, or sleep for the same number of hours. I think that might be why my FF chart looked crazy.
