Update. (XP on SAIF)

It did not go very well. He said definitely another month of hormone therapy. Then an entire month OFF hormone therapy. Then beginning of September's cycle, we can do bloodwork on CD3 and CD22 to see if my body is operating properly but possibly NO TTC during that month depending on what my u/s shows on July 30th as far as healing and lining. He'll determine if I need a third month of being on the Premarin and Provera. Beginning October, we will be able to TTC again but no medical intervention. He wants us to basically "start over." No medication and no IUI. Just straight up intercourse and OPK's. He'll monitor bloodwork to make sure I'm ovulating but he won't intervene unless a) I'm not ovulating fine on my own or b) it's been 6 months of intercourse and no luck. When I asked him about the cervical mucous issues, his response was, "If you're ovulating fine, you should have any cervical mucous issues."

I'm glad he's got such faith that we will be able to get pregnant on our own now after the surgery but it wasn't the news I wanted to hear. After a year and a half of TTC and 2 surgeries, more "wait and see" was a little heart wrenching to hear.

Somehow I need to come up with some patience and understanding. I'm lacking both at the moment. Cried for a good chunk of the morning and I'm not speaking to anyone at work so that I don't start crying again. It may not seem bad to anyone else but it just feels like I'm always chasing the carrot that you can't ever seem to catch.

I just wanted to offer hugs. I know how hard it is to be on a break when you truly don't want to be. I (might) not cycle again until October too so maybe we can be cycle buddies then.

I'm glad your RE has faith in you being able to do it naturally, mine is pretty sure it won't happen naturally for me unless something miraculous happens.

I'm sorry, that must be so disapointing. I hope you can start trying again ASAP and that you get your BFP before the end of your six month trial.

Oh man, I would be bummed too!!!!! Still, just remember how far you have come Smile

A month ago we worried you would have no tube connected to an actual ovary and a month before that things were even worse. Great things come to those who wait and that means I think you have some wonderful things in store soon.

I know. I really am trying to keep things in perspective. DH has a lot of faith in this RE and trusts him. I wish I shared his optimism. I'm just so damn drained by this whole process.

Ef, man! I am so sorry your recover is so long. But I really hope he's right and that after your green light to try again you will not need additional intervention.
