Ugh why do I watch this garbage?

Sweet 16 Bling - they are counting down the most expensive Sweet 16s they've shown on MTV. The amounts of money these parents spend is actually sickening.

    Sickening is really the best word for it. I literally feel ill watching that stuff. I think I saw Sweet 16 once and never watched again. I get the same way about Platinum Weddings. The excess . . .

    I can't stand those shows. I hate how they call that "reality tv". There's no way in hell those girls know what the real world is!

    Oh those little brats make me sick. Actually, no, it is 100% the parents. I can think of a million other things you can do to make your child happy on their birthday. And none of them require more than a couple hundred bucks.

    I agree...it is ridiculous!

     

    Even if I did have that kind of money, my child would learn the value of a dollar!

    My daughter is 16 and I told her she was dreaming if she thought she would ever get that from me. Most of them are brats...I would smack the sh*t out of my daughter if she acted like that. She's a good kid though:)

    Those kids are brats however I think that the parents are totally to blame.  They allow their children to act that way....

    I agree! I could think of 1,000 things I would rather do with the money! I mean 16? And the wedding? Pretty, but seriously!
