damn this heat wave!

I wanted the car seat base installed this week, but its too effing hot! Around 100 degrees everyday, definitely not making the hubs deal with that in the heat, he might hate me.

It's awful isn't it? i didn't think I'd have to experience this type of weather preganant with an early July due date! I haven't left the house since Monday. The mail man just came by and I was considering walking out to get the mail.... but decided to let DH get it when he gets home.. nothing that important could be in the mail! Luckily I'm able to work from home since I'm close to my due date or I'd get stuck trecking out in the sauna that it has become outside!

I moved all my bags to the car last week. Then on Monday I realized that I had the candy for the nurses in one of those bags. Totally melted. Luckily it didn't ruin anything, but chocolate melted just looks like poo.

Then yesterday I brought my make up to and from work and realized that my lipstick was in my car all day. I am very lucky that it didn't melt! That comes inside with me now. I can't wait for this heat wave to be over!!

I work from home, too - thank GOD. I haven't gone outside either, and I make everyone else take the dogs out, I just can't.

Yeah... that's the one thing we've put off, and this morning, we found out I'm getting induced on Monday. So now we HAVE to do it in the ridiculous heat. Aah!

Oh man I wish! Commuting to and from Manhattan everyday is unbearable! I am starting only 3 days a week next week for the last 6 weeks I'm here.

Max, I would seriously feel suicidal if I had to commute everyday! I don't know how you deal. I'm out by Huntington, what about you?

Kim - My DH tells me he fears more for the general public than for me at this point LOL, I want to literally kill everyone, and the walk to and from the station and up and down the stairs is seriously like entering into combat!

We live in Carle Place. I love the little town in Huntington, sooo pretty, great shopping and restaurants.

Thank god you have 8 weeks left and the heat should be gone by then. I was waddling my way around the city on 4th of July and it was pretty miserable. I heart cabs and apartments with central air.

We have central air at home, and I honestly don't know how I leave the house every morning!
