How do you keep your sanity during the two week wait. We have been TTC for about a year now and this month is the worst. I was diagnosed with PCOS and have undergone so many tests, but after losing some weight and getting my blood sugar under control I have been ovulating regularly for the past nine months. Well this month (like always) we did the BD every other day around my ovulation time and now I am waiting. I have not seen a temp change but that is normal for me. But I get up every morning and swear my boobs are getting bigger, and for the past week I have had to get up and change my night clothes because I am soaked with sweat! Last night at dinner I almost lost my stomach when I smelled some lasagna. And I love lasagna, but last night it made me gag. I have four more days until I can test and get a reliable result.
Does anyone have any tips on how to stay sane during the waiting? LOL

If you don't see a thermal shift, how do you know you are ovulating regularly?
If you are still 4 days away from testing....none of those symptoms could be related to pregnancy. It is pretty easy to not over analyze when it is way too early.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
If there is no shift, what tells you that you are ovulating?
I try to occupy myself elsewhere with a book. It never gets to me until a day or two before my period is supposed to arrive.
My temps are all over the place.
I use an OTK and with that and the help of my dr we have determined that I am ovulating around CD 14.
I know it is way too early for symptoms but I feel just crazy this month.
Can you post a link to your chart (if you chart). I'm a total chart stalker and would like to see it.
If you don't have a temp change how can you be sure you are ovulating? If you are having symptoms, you should be able to get +hpt, unless of course, they are phantom.
GL.
FWIW, OPKs cannot tell you if/when you ovulate. They ONLY tell you that you are gearing up to. Some people ovulate 12 hours after the +, some 36, some 48 and some not at all. Yes, you can get a + and not actually ovulate. The ONLY ways to know if/when you do is 1) charting your wakingtemps and seeing a CLEAR thermal shift & 2) bloodwork. If you got bloodwork done then that would say that, yes, you did ovulate, but it couldn't accurately say when. I assume that your doc said you O on CD14 because you have a 28 day cycle. That is a total myth. You could O on CD 20 and only have a 8 day LP, or on CD16 with a 12 day LP, or on CD13 with a 15 day LP, etc. Your best bet? Get rid of that bump ticker and keep charting your temps. Also, read the link I have at the bottom of my siggy. It has a tone of great advice for newbies.
