Are snappies really this difficult...or is it me?

a friend gave me a bunch (like 10) snappies because she doesn't use them anymore.

I don't seem to be able to get the hang of them. they just don't stay in place.

I thought they just like hook onto the diaper but am I wrong?

I'm kinda getting a complex over this! lol

    How old are they? Maybe they lost a lot of their elasticity - they are supposed to wear out after several months of use.

    Also, occasionally they just don't want to grip my flats.

    Oh, and did you check to see if the rubber loop is over the teeth? That would do it too.
