Babies on the Brain

Staycations are wonderful.

So, I worked 3 days, then went to Texas for five days, then came home and worked for 4 days, and had another 4 days free, and now I'm working 3 days again before I get another weekend off.

I'm getting spoiled.  We didn't really go anywhere this long weekend.  We managed to fill our time with good local food, cookouts, movies, and chilling out with the dogs.  I can't complain.  But I did miss you ladies.  Hope I didn't miss too very much here.

Re: Staycations are wonderful.

  • You didn't miss anything (besides our hotness and amazing witty comments).  I could get used to that schedule pretty easily!

  • Did you see Fred's posts yesterday?  They're pretty awesome!

  • Hi, Hippo.

I could get used to this schedule, too.

(P.S. I'm glad there's at least one person who hasn't totally dismissed me on here.  I'm especially glad it's you. Smile)

I saw about the finalization!  That was awesome.  Did I miss something else?

Dude, are you kidding?  Of course I wouldn't.

So on that note I am coming to staycation with you for the weekend, okay?

  • Hi!

And I agree, staycations are great!

  • I'm in.  Bring the whole gang! I mean, as long as you don't mind overly-friendly Doods.
  • It was super quiet here this weekend.

Okay.  But we should probably leave our dog at home.  He is having some issues.  Which reminds me, I need to post about that on the Pets board...

She also posted some pics of Charlotte.  She's a real cutie!

  • Well, it's gross.  He is pooping in the house.  A lot.  I could make cartoons about it except it's much more gross than funny.

We may have switched his food by accident (I bought it last and my pregbrain can't remember if I got the right kind) but we have switched it back.  He still has mud-butt and is still crapping everywhere.  My poor H has cleaned it up every time.

He's 11 - so I hope it's not a getting old or sick issue.  But he has NEVER done this before.

Hmmmm.  Yes, that's problematic.  We had that happen with Josie when we switched her food.  Have you tried rice/chicken for a few days to see if that clears anything up?
  • I told my H to make a big batch of rice today since he's at home, so we'll see how that goes.  He also made a vet appointment for this evening.  Poor pup.
