Teeny Tiny Panties?

DD is what we like to call "miniature". She's 2.5, just barely hit 23# (depends in the day), and while she isn't exactly tall she's taller than the average 23-pounder. She wears size 18mo in the waist (sometimes 12mo still, like her swimsuit and some shorts) and 2T in length.
I am having a heckuva time finding panties that are small enough. 2T panties are a joke on her- they literally fall right off. At best, they have huge gaps at her legs.
I like Hanna Andersson, but their XS is still to gappy. Nothing I've seen at Target, Sears, or JCPenney is small enough. To make it more difficult, we don't do characters and she has sensory issues with things like exposed elastic (Old Navy jammies? Not on your life!).
Any suggestions on brands orsomewhere else to look?

    Is she totally PT?  Walmart has some of those thicker panties that are 18 months, and they fit really well (I think they're made for PTing).  I believe they are George brand, and they have no exposed elastic.  Even if she is totally PT, they'd still work.

    My DD is tall and super thin, so I totally understand your issue.  I have had success with some Dora ones (which obviously won't work for you), and some from our grocery store (but we're in Canada, so again, won;t work for you).  I've finally realized that seeing as they aren't really for holding anything in, as long as they don't fall right off, we're good!  They are big in the thigh, but such is life!

    I agree, they don't really need to be snug.  DS is skinny too, can still easily wear 12 month shorts, but is wearing the 2T underwear.  He's also really tall.  They gap around his legs pretty bad, but I don't worry about it as long as they stay on his waist.

    If you don't want characters I don't know what to tell you, because the smallest ones we could find were the Disney brand (I don't know who really makes them).  They are tiny.  And all of them shrink really bad, so if they look big in the package keep that in mind.  We have some Gerber padded underwear that don't have exposed elastic, but I think the smallest they come is also 2T.

    You can definitely shrink the 2T underwear. Dd is tiny too. Wearing 12 to 18 month bottoms. I also like the 18 month gerber training pants

    I just came to post the same question! We are on day 2 of potty training and things are going well, but all of his underwear are laughably big. We also are anti-character and have a kid with some big sensory challenges so it sounds like we're in the same boat. Good luck!

    I bought some padded training pants at https://www.pottypatty.com/CTGY/Potty-Training-Pants.html. I am not sure how she will do with the logo on them, but I will say I have a skinny minnie as well and I bought the small and once I washed them they fit her really well. They also sell as size xs for really small kids. Again not sure if they will be a problem because they have a logo on them, but they are not character underpants.

    They don't have any exposed elastic and stay up really well on my smaller girl and no gaps at the thighs.
