Ever taste Gripe Water?

I was originally using the Baby Bliss brand of Gripe water, but with thrush-gate 2010, I decided to toss that bottle, in case it was a cause for the recurrance.  I had tasted a bit of that one - pretty benign, green apple flavor.

I was at BRU the other day and they only had the Little Tummies kind, so I just bought it.  The ingredients were the same as on the Baby Bliss kind, in similar doses.  I just tasted some of it because I was checking how fast the flow on my new little bottle-type of med dispenser was.  This stuff has a NUMBING effect in my mouth!!  It tastes the way Dermoplast smells, which has lidocane in it.  I feel AWFUL for giving her this stuff to drink!!  She's gotten daily doses of this since Saturday and I have kept it refrigerated. 

Thoughts?

    Yes I've tasted it- the Little Tummies kind is nasty! I mix it in her bottle instead of in her mouth because I feel bad for it being so gross!

    I never did taste it but Little Tummies calmed DS almost immediately...other brands not so much...I guess I know why now!

     Yeah, we have been having the Nystatin fight 4 times a day for 3 weeks now.  Lots of sticky yellow stuff everywhere!

    Same here! I figured it must taste awesome since he takes it like its crack.  Now the pepermint zantac? not so much...

    This.  Betsy loves it!  We use Little Tummies, too.  It's been a lifesaver.
