Dh says it looked like a scorpion...I have to admit it kind of did! I love it when I am right. I am measuring approximately 8 weeks and 2 days My doctor was convinced I was a week ahead, but I knew better from charting! The heart rate was 169 beats per minute.
Lesson learned do not drink the water when they say too! I was told drink 32oz from 1:45-2:15. I chugged it down at around 2:00. They didn't see me until 3:15. My bladder was about to burst! I couldn't even enjoy the ultrasound because I had to pee so bad and was trying not to pee on the tech!!! The lady told me next time ignore the directions, wait a half hour then drink it. The poor peanut was being squished by my full bladder! So happy to know we have a healthy baby. I can relax now!

I'm having my first abdominal u/s tomorrow and not looking forward to drinking the 32 oz. I hope I don't have that long of a wait..I don't think I will be as successful as you were holding it!

PG#1 - 3rd cycle BFP. Team Green. HELLP syndrome @ 34 weeks.
Later diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, possible link to HELLP.
PG#2 M/C 3/14 - Surprise BFP 2/13. Beta's doubled every 52 hours from 3w5d-5w5d
Viable pregnancy scan at 5w5d; 2nd u/s showed 2 days of growth in 7 but a HB of 120
3rd u/s on 3/10/14 had no HB and baby had only grown 7 days over 14
D&C 3/17/14 - complications - DX Retroflexed uterus, multiple tears to cervix
