PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONES AWAKE

Ok so I woke up to pump around 2, got a good 7 oz, but one side my nipple was bleeding so the milk is a nice pink color. Now DS is awake and wanting more, can I give him that milk with my blood in it? Any idea what the heck is up? I've been nursing for almost 3 months!
TTC #3 with PCOS. Long cycles, ovulate about 4-5 times a year Married 6/9/07 DS 7/15/08 Met RE 12/08 DD 6/2/10

    Yes, you can.  Be prepared for his poop or spit up to be red colored but your blood won't hurt him.  Hang in there!  (((hugs)))

    I'm not sure about giving him that milk, but I think it's somewhat common.  Put some lanolin on your nipple and make sure that your shields on your pump aren't too small (if your nipples rub the sides, you might want to try a bigger size).

    Maybe nurse from the other side, give him some of the milk you got from the otherside if its not bloody, or as a last resort, tap into your freezer stash.

    I'm here. I'm under the impression that you can give the bloody milk. DD sucked me bloody and I continued to BF, so one could conclude that it's okay
