We use Enfamil Gentlease (we get it from his home medical supply delivery place) and once I was at my Mom's and forgot to pack it. I went and got the Gentle Walmart formula, and didn't notice any difference. My mom now actually keeps a supply at her house of the parent's choice, so we don't have to try and remember our supply.
If anything, it dissolves WAYYYYY easier than Enfamil. Which is a plus in my book. I hate constantly stirring lumps!?
DH gets Similac ready to feed bottles free from work, but sometimes we run out before they can get us more. We keep a container of Parents Choice on hand and have never had a problem with it.
Sometimes we just use it for a day, a couple weeks ago we had to use it for a week and she still did fine.
We've used it for nearly 3 months now and DS is doing great on it and you can't beat the price. We were using Similac Advanced before we switched to the Wal-Mart brand.
I was using Similac Sensitive, switched to the Walmart brand and holy spit up batman! It was awful! IMO, it really depends on your LO, but I will never go back to it.
This was true for us too. Now I use Similac or Parent's Choice equivalent of Similac. There are several kinds of Parent's Choice- just go with the one closest to your usual name brand and you should be fine.
