Battling with myself...

My type A personality is fighting with my lazy body...

I really wanted to have some freezer meals prepared for after LO gets here...but I have absolutely NO motivation to do so... by the time I get out of work I'm exhausted...

I'm hoping that maybe this weekend I can light a fire under myself...sigh....

  • What if you went to those stores that you can make freezer meals.  It cuts down on some of the prep and clean-up work.

  • My parents have a meatloaf and mashed potato meal in their freezer (may sound weird, but DH was looking for pop over the weekend and he told me about it LOL!), so you may want to check wither Costco or Sam's Club for something like that.  I know they got it at Costco!

    Good luck Smile

  • Honestly I wouldn't worry about it.  I wanted to do that too but Libby came early so I didn't get a chance.  My grandma made us a bunch of stuff for the freezer, but to be honest it was kind of a pain to get it out early enough to defrost, put it in the oven, etc., etc.  Plus I didn't really want to have to oven on in July.  When I actually had time to eat, I wanted to eat right then- foods that were readily available and only needed a microwave zap at most.  Some things we really relied on: pre-made sandwiches from Costco (Sam's has them too), a couple of casseroles that we kept in the fridge, rotisserie chickens, fresh fruit and veggies, cereal.  GL and enjoy your baby-free time!
