Dumb IUI Cycling Question

Can you cycle in back to back months?

I'm wavering between doing another IUI cycle or heading straight to IVF. If I can do another IUI cycle this month, I will since I have most of my meds and know what I'm doing but if I have to wait I want to go straight to IUI.

    I belive so, unless u have any leftover cysts or follicles! I was able to do IUI 2 months in a row! GL!

    Not a dumb question.

    And the answer is yes. You can do IUIs in continuous cycles. We did 3 sets of 2 back-to-backs. I'm pretty sure there are woman on here that have done more than that though.

     

    TTC since July 2007 a year on our own, 7 IUIs spread out over 2 years, all BFN IVF attempt #1 - September - antagonist protocol, called off CD8 due too poor response IVF attempt #2 - November - called off on CD11 due to low estrogen IVF attempt #3 - started stims Jan 25th...converted/cancelled Jan 31st...SWITCHED BACK TO IVF Feb 3rd! ER Feb 7th...lets DO this! ET Feb 12th, Beta #1 141, Beta #2 356, u/s #1 hb 141 bpm, u/s at 7 weeks 1 day no hb, missed m/c. So sad. IVF #4 scheduled for June 2011, last chance, this is it

    I was able to, but they have to check on CD1-3 to make sure no cysts leftover from meds. GL!
    1 ectopic 3 m/c's prior to 5/05 Un-freaking-explained IF 5/05 IVF, BFN 9/05 FET 3d5e, BFP = Beautiful Baby Girl (lucky pg #5) 8/08 Fet 3d5e, cp 12/08 IVF with PGD, transfer 3, BFN 5/09 FET transfer 4, BFN Hail Mary IUI with Follistim 9/11 BFP; 9/22 confirmed tubal/MTX 4/10 FET 3d5e, BFP!!!! m/c 5/26/10 1 year break and yet another m/c 5/11 FET #5 initial beat 121, second beta 7 Lap and removal of L tube and very mild endo 7/11 Suprise BFP 12/11 & m/c @ 8 wks. After 11 losses and one beautiful miracle our journey is over, we are thankful and at peace.

    I did with my second pg and got DD from my second IUI.

    I'm still in IUI #1 cycle but the RE said to call with a positive pregnancy test or with AF to schedule CD 3 bloodwork for the second one - so I think its fine. I feel like I've read somewhere your chances of success go up slightly for the second and then after the third one if no pregnancy it's probably not going to work.
