Were your estrogen levels checked before IUI?

I have read a couple of posts saying that their estrogen levels were checked before the IUI, and mine never were. They were done when we first started testing about 2 months ago, but never before my IUI.  Should I be concerned?  I did get a positive OPK though.  Just wondering why some Doctors are checking and some aren't?

    Mine were not checked before IUI.

    Yes, mine were checked before both IUI's, on CD13, same day as the u/s.

    My estrogen levels were checked at my last monitoring appt which ended up being the day of my trigger (2 days ago).  They weren't checked again before the IUI, though I wish they had been:P

    Yes, mine were checked numerous times before all of my IUIs. My poor arm had the track marks as proof :(

    Mine are checked, among other things, at my CD3 u/s and b/w appt.  Then not again until after IUI.

    It took 44 cycles, just over 3 years, 6 failed IUI's in MI, and 1 round of IVF at CCRM to get our BFP!
    Beta #1 (9dp5dt) = 206, Beta #2 (11dp5dt) = 438
    1st u/s @ 6w5d = 11/11/11 = ONE little bean! HB 120bpm!

    No blood work was done before my IUI.  I'm sure it probably depends on the individual and what your "issues" are, and it probably depends on the Dr. too.
    Stopped BCP 7/08 BFP 11/09 - Natural MC 12/09 PCOS 2/10 - Began taking Metformin Femara with trigger from 3/10-7/10 IUI#1 7/10 - BFN Taking a break while I work on my Masters... Now cycling on my own with Metformin. BFP 2/18/11!!! Lilypie First Birthday tickers
