I still can't decide which woven to get; I randomly had a lady offer a storch at a yard sale but it was way before I had even thought of venturing into the world of wovens! Wish I had bought it then. Now I am watching DS and TBW to find one. It is great that your DCP wraps! I have converted several Moms around here to BWing. Haha.

can you school me?
what does DS and TBW stand for?
and yes, my DCP is great, and she only lives three blocks from my work! so i can pop over any time
I can totally see myself in Disney Paris and all over Europe with this...seems much easier than trying to push the Umbrella Stroller over cobblestone or trying to lug the BOB on trains. Have I mentioned how hard it is to push a darned umbrella over cobblestone? It is a total PITA.
PrincessJenney, I love that wrap! So pretty! I also like your DD's name. Are you a Twilight fan?
Thanks! I actually am a Twilight fan, but that's not where I got the name from. I actually almost changed my mind while I was pregnant because sooo many people asked me that and I had to keep explaining.
I named her after one of my best friends whose name is Esmeralda but goes by Esme. DH thought Esmeralda was too long and since we were just going to call her Esme anyway, that's what we named her. We actually pronounce it different from Twilight, Ez-mee rather than Ez-may.
Overall I'm glad I didn't change it, and I don't mind explaining it anymore because it's already her name KWIM?
RandiDeeAnn: I bought the sling from Kalea Baby as an already-done slingified wrap. I don't think it takes much of a wrap to make a sling, though. Kalea will do wrap conversions for you, and Zanytoes and Sleeping Baby Productions are two others that I think do them.

my son will ONLY be worn in the kokopax bc everything else is too confining. its not a popular carrier on this board but we use ours every day, for every errand! My DD used to like the ergo (and i would tandem babywear) but as of lately she wants to be either in the kokopax too, or not worn at all. So sad they are growing up.

And Doodler is 100% correct on how impractical strollers are for traveling in Europe.

How did you convert? I got two "mobys" when I made mine. I'd love a RS!
