Anyone trying after a loss?

How long has it been since your loss(es)? My ectopic was in April and my doctor said to wait at least one period. Once we start trying in August, I will have had three periods, so I think we will be good to go. I'm so scared and nervous! All three times I have gotten pregnant so easily and quickly, but I'm thinking this may not be the case this time.

Sorry for your loss and GL on this try.

Our loss was over 6 years ago. But, I must say, I'm a bit nervous (and maybe even paraniod) this time around.

I am sorry for your loss. I have had two m/c's, the last one being an ectopic in May. I was given an injection of methotrexate, so DH and I are TTA until next month. I am very scared to try again, especially since I know DH's insurance doesn't cover anything involving infertility. I have my f/u appt on the 13th and then I think my OB wants to do a HSG test to make sure nothing is blocking my tubes. So we are just hoping 3rd time will be the charm. GL to you :-)

My loss was in April as well, but it was natural so we started trying right away. This will be my second normal cycle after it, 3rd if you count the actual cycle of the loss (I Od without having a full AF first). There was no reason for me to be nervous because our chances are so slim of us even getting pregnant again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I just had a m/c in June. I am impatiently awaiting AF so that we can start trying again.

I am not really scared, the worst that I could imagine has happened. I am nervous that it will take as long as this last time, but optimistic and hoping and praying it doesn't take as long and that it doesn't happen again. Good luck!

I had an early m/c (chemical pregnancy) in June. The doctor gave us the ok to start trying again right away so we are, but I am nervous.

I got pregnant on my second cycle charting, and I'm worried that it won't be so easy this time. I just want to be pregnant again with a healthy baby (I know, don't we all?)

I'm also scared of another m/c. I guess I'm just trying to remain positive. That's all we can do!

Yep. I had an early loss in June. My doctor gave me the go ahead to try after one period, which I think will be arriving very soon. I'm both excited to start trying again and very nervous about having another m/c. Hopefully this time we'll all get to take home a healthy, happy baby.

1st of all I am sorry for your loss.

I had a natural miscarriage in May and we were told to wait 2 cycles before TTC again. I have long cycles and after this cycle I will hopefully be back to normal and TTC again.

As for the TTC loss board mentioned above the site says for those who have been TTC for 6 months after a loss so I haven't really been on there yet. I do use the miscarriage & pregnancy loss board though

Kell, there are actually two boards, TTCAL and TTCAL 6+ months, so you could totally post on the TTCAL board if you wanted to.

I'm so sorry for your losses. We are TTC now after an early loss in February. I wasn't feeling too nervous until just this week - it hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm trying to remind myself that we have been through the worst and made it. Good luck to you guys!

I had an infant loss at the end of April. My OB said we could start trying whenever I felt emotionally ready to, and I think we are getting close to that point. It's been about 10 weeks, and I still have no sign of AF : ( . I'm just starting to chart, so hopefully I can figure out if I'm ovulating.
