SUCH a stupid question...how much FA in your PNV?

I'm certainly not smart when it comes to medical measurements and all that jargon.  I do NOT know the difference between mgs, mcgs and IUs.  Anyway, I was reading labels on PNV bottles and I saw all sorts of different amounts in all sorts of different measurements.  Anyway, just curious what your bottle says about the amount of folic acid in each dose (is dose even the right word???)??

    folic acid is usually measured in mcg or mg

    1,000mcg = 1mg

    Most PMV have between 0.8mg - 1mg

    Most regular vitamins have 0.4mg.

    I'm taking about 8mg (rx strength, due to MTHFR and having had a child with a NTD)

    This.  I take 5mg because of my MTHFR.

    I'm STILL testing out Rx samples, but the one I like has 1.2mg in it.

    Mine has 1mg FA. And I take an extra 4mg on top of that, doctor's orders.

    Miscarriages, losses, lots of treatments & drugs & IVF


    Natural BFP (WTF?!) - 06/04/11 ~ lots of complication and drama, but sweet baby Adele born 02/07/12!

    BFP #million -another girl for us! EDD - 05-08-15 (but will come early)
