Just realized I have an appointment on Day 2....WWYD

I have my 6wk post partum apt on what will be the 2nd day of 3DPT. The appointment was a challenge to schedule for a variety of reasons and I would rather not put it off any further.

I can only schedule my pp apt for a Tue or Wed so DH will be avail to watch DD and I want to start 3DPT on a Monday because Thursdays-Sundays are incredibly busy for us.

So which one waits a week? PT or pp apt??? Or should I wait to see how Day 1 goes before rescheduling at all? Is it possible Day 2 will have worked well enough to do such a thing?

    If DH is home with DD while you go to the appt, why cant he continue the training?
    My 2 girls, both born on a Friday the 13th, are exactly 2 years, 2 months, 2 hours and 2 minutes apart! And Baby Boy joined us October 11, 2013! image

    He works 40mins away from home and about 2mins from where my MW's office is. DH basically just takes an hour off and the two of them go to a park or do some errand while I'm doing my thing. Saves him from taking more time off than is needed (the time it would take for me to drive there and back, plus the actual appointment time would probably be double the time).

    I would personally see how Day One goes before stopping altogether. If it's an afternoon appointment, I'd see how much she's improved on Day Two before stopping.

    I might even try to get her to go before leaving for the appointment and then just bring extra bottom clothes just in case. See if she'll go while you're there as well.

    If you don't want to go through all of that, putting it off for one more week would be your best option.

    I didn't use the 3 day method, but my daughter was essentially trained after the one day and, in hindsight, I still would have rescheduled any appts on day 2.  Even though she did so well on day one, i really felt like day 2 was just as important for reinforcement and routine.
