My DH and I are just starting ttc. My DS will be just over 2 if we get pregnant right away. Tell me what it's like having a newborn and a toddler! Be honest! I'm already nervous for this lol!
Well, mine are 16 months apart so it might be different because of the age difference, but so far so good. It's honestly a lot easier than I thought it would be. I SAH and EBF so the only real issue we have is trying to keep my toddler occupied while I nurse the baby. I have some special toys that come out only while nursing, or we read books, etc. My son loves his sister (tries to give her kisses all the time and brings her toys, lol). It's tiring, but honestly not bad at all. I think the transition from 1 to 2 kids is much easier than 0 to 1. I say go for it!

mine are 16 months apart and i agree with pp - it's really not as hard as i thought except being exhausted from no sleep with the newborn. there are no jealousy issues from dd but i think its her age - she's too young to really grasp the concept but loves saying hi to her brother and petting his head.
I'm only 11 days in so I'm no expert however I will say it's been easier than I expected (I had nightmares). DD LOVES/WORSHIPS her brother and is very helpful. She definitely has been naughtier but that actually was worst the first few days home and has improved each day. DS still sleeps most of the time so I get everthing done easily and play with DD - I feel by the time he is interacting more DD will be thoroughly adjusted.

See my post above. DD was 25.5m when DS was born. She loves DS and is super helpful. But the sleep are starting to cause some problems for us. It's hard to keep DS quiet so DD doesn't wake up at night and the reverse during the day.
