Hello ladies... someone please reassure me...

So today I went in for midcycle check and had a 28mm follie! HOLY MOLY! They also did bloodwork this morning and it showed that I did not O yet and wasn't quite ready yet so the Dr. wanted to give it another day or two and asked me to monitor at home with the digital OPK's (which never work). Well... tonight I got a smiley face! They are having me come in tomorrow for b/w to confirm surge and we will do IUI on Monday. We did do the deed today so atleast we have the next couple of days covered. If b/w confirms that I am surging, we will do back to back IUI's: one on Monday and one on Tuesday. So excited and hopeful. I may not even need the trigger!

I am just a little scared of the size. Is there such thing as this being TOO big to implant or fertilizing?

Try not to worry. Are you on Clomid? That's actually a good size for IUI on Clomid and if you are surging IUI will be perfect.

We did Femara cd 3-7 and Follistim cd 8-10. Thanks for your input. We go in for IUI on Monday. I am scared it will be too late.

Try not to worry. I was on Clomid and my RE actually said she feels a lot of people IUI too early and the studies actually say the size you are talking about is better for success. I have positive thoughts for you. Easier said than done but try to leave it in your docs hands.
