I'm 9 weeks along, and the tech didn't see or hear a heartbeat, the dr didn't double check. Their telling me it's a miscarriage but I'm not having any symptoms. What do I do??
Unfortunately, it probably is. I know this might sound a little harsh, but my sister had the same thing once- It wasn't until a few dyas later that she had symptoms and started bleeding. I would definitely get a second opinion first (and soon), because if you don't bleed and naturally expel, you'll have to have a D&C. If you did miscarry, rely on your support group and try to reach out to others to learn how to cope properly.

At nine weeks, the heartbeat should be easily detected by u/s. Esp. if they detected a HB at an earlier scan. It is not uncommon to not have symptoms right away - many ladies experience a "missed miscarriage" - they had no indication that their baby had stopped growing weeks before.
You can always ask for another check before moving forward with a d&c or other proceedure, but I think you need to prepare yourself and begin the healing/grieving process.

Thanks for the info, going to get a second opinion just in case. I wanna make sure before I make a decision like that ya know. Don't wanna wonder the rest of my life.
Re: No heartbeat
I'm sorry for your loss.
