Still with mild-mod OHSS and 9dp5dt ....

My OHSS came back Wednesday at 4dp5dt and has not gone away.  It gets much worse in the evenings, not sure if this is typical of OHSS.

I have my beta tomorrow, since labs are closed today. Took a first response last night and a line came up immediatly, a little lighter than the control line.  I am not sure if the darkness of a line correlates at all to a beta number.

I cant get excited at all about this because I am terrified of another miscarriage.

  • I hope this is your sticky baby!  I've heard OHSS can get worse with PG? I don't know all the tricks for reducing symptoms, though.  Hope you start to feel better!

  • Yay Congrats! I hear OHSS gets worse with pregnancy too, I hope that you're feeling better Soon. I've found with me that darker line = higher beta. I'm betting you'll see a strong number tomorrow.

  • My lines were super light in the beginning and got darker and darker everyday, so I think they do correlate to the beta :)

I'll whisper a tentative congrats, and can't wait to see that beta #.

    Good luck!

  • Congrats on the positive HPT. Ditto on the pregnancy and OHSS thing. I'm so sorry you feel bad. Hoping that it gets better soon and you have a very sticky baby in there!
  • I had mild-mod OHSS last week... I was sooo miserable and really scared that the pain/discomfort would last all through the first trimester... the nurses said to eat everything salty... saltine crackers with salt on them, salty pretzels, and popcorn with extra salt... plus nothing to drink but Gatorade... and 4 days later, I felt good as new... I was unable to roll over in bed, because I was hurting and so big (bloated)... I dont know if it would work for everyone, but I know it worked wonders for me!  Congrats on the HPT+, and good luck with Beta and an embie that sticks!

  • Congrats cutie and OHSS symptoms do get worse with BFP's.  Sorry you're so uncomfortable.

Load up on gatorade and high sodium foods, ramen noodles and mcdonald's.

GL & PPV sending you tons of HUGE beta vibes and sticky dust!
