how long does your 2m old nurse for?

my guy has recently started nursing for a much shorter amount of time on each breast but he continues to gain appropriate weight. i can only assume he's getting better at draining me quickly. he now does 10-15 minutes on the first side and 10 minutes on the second side.

how long does your little one nurse for on each side (or one side if that's all you offer)?

We still take anywhere from 30-60 min total though she is becoming more efficient at draining the breast and I am letting her comfort nurse.

my son is pretty quick if he's just eating-- 10 min each side. but if he is nursing to sleep (to nap or for the night) he nurses at least 30 min. but it is really slow and probably more for comfort. he has always nursed fast though!

About 10 minutes on each side but, if he is comfort nursing for sleep he usually lasts about 15-20 minutes.

10-15 min one side only. And she is very efficient at draining me in that time. I get 4-6 ounces per side when I pump. 1ht

My LO used to nurse for 30 mins total, 15 min each side. Now its decreased dramatically and she'll only nurse on one side for about 10 minutes and she's done!

Me too. Sometimes even 6 minutes (although she'll eat again sooner if she does 6 minutes).
