people amaze me...

So I got 2 can of formula in the mail from similac...one regular similac and the other is the Sim sensitive soy...I won't be using the sim sens, so I posted on CL free can of formula and $5 coupon....you would not believe the number of people who want this formula, but they want ME to mail it to them.  So I am offering something for free, but you want me to pay to mail it to you.  The coupon I have no issue, but I am not paying to mail a can of formula...these people have got to be kidding...

anyone else think this is ridiculous? Confused

Re: people amaze me...

  • Yeah, once I posted a can of Isomil Soy formula that I had gotten as a sample and posted it for free, and someone emailed me asking if I could drive down and meet her in southern Springboro, which is a good 25 minutes from here. I said she was welcome to come and pick it up, and she said she would, and then never showed. Guess it wasn't worth the free formula....

    People are strange.

I did a formula trade once via CL.  We met about 5 minutes from my house, and I got a can I needed in exchange for some similac they needed...

but I agree, people have no concept of your cost even though it's "free"

  • That is crazy!  Can you donate them to a church or food bank?  I'm not sure if they take that kind-of stuff, but then you don't have to deal with the crazy. Stick out tongue
