FIL calls DH (a police officer) to find out if he (FIL) will be getting arrested, a warrant, or going to jail soon.

It is a great way to learn about the law...

    DH kinda laughs it off.  A year or two ago FIL had a warrant out for back child support due.  The court told him to pay 15000 (DH and his sis are in their 30's) or he was going to jail...which I think he spent the weekend there before they let him out.

    DH is still on the phone with FIL but from what I'm hearing it has something to do with FIL driving across country without insurance... I think it has to do with him help move some family from Arizona back to MI.
