Sorry no personal recs...I actually don't know if CSOBGYN does them or not...have you called them? I know there are docs in the area who will do them but few and far between...my friend goes somewhere in the greater Towson area and her OB will do it at GBMC for her next child, if possible...I can email her this week if you would like. GBMC had 36 done there two years ago so despite their c/s rate, it is possible.
I have no recs but I would like to say that my experience was great. I was a first timer and they did everything to not have me have a C-section. In the end I did not have one!! My situation was very close but they did not give in. I am not sure about their rate as opposed to other hospitals in the area. I loved my OB at Perinatal Associates. My cousin went there as well and was very happy with it.
Sorry for my .02$ I know it was not an answer to your question.(: Good luck with your search and VBAC.
If you don't hear back from anyone, my suggestion is to join the Anne Arundel County Birth Circle yahoo group and post your question there as I know for a fact that there are a lot of doulas, childbirth educators and fellow vbac moms on there that could give you some guidance on your question.

Oh and have you checked out ICAN's Baltimore chapter? Not only do they have wonderful workshops and information sessions, but the president of the chapter, Barbara Straton (I believe), is very knowledgeable regarding what practices to look into, avoid, etc.

Thanks. This is very helpful. Do you mind PMing me your OB's name. Mine said that she would support a VBAC but made decisions during my first delivery that lead to the c-section, so I am not sure that I trust her.
Thanks to everyone else. I did hear about Barbara Stratton. I have been thinking about contacting her.
My OB is at GBMC. I ended up with w C-section with my first born, due to her large size and being in sunny-side up. My OB had me pushing for over 5 hours and she just wouldn't come out. Anyways I am due again in about a month. She is allowing me to do a VBAC with this child at GBMC. She is going to do an ultrasound at 38 weeks to see the baby's position and also the size (I have large babies 9+ lbs). The plan is all in place for a VBAC. My OB is Dominique Allen, since I really didn't have any medical reasons too bad the first time, she is allowing me to go VBAC. The only strike I have against me is that I have large babies, so when I reach 37 weeks, I am going to do anything to get this baby out of me to have a normal 8lb baby.

Have you thought about hiring a doula? I think that you can really benefit from one as they will be able to suggest different positions to help not only with a bigger baby but also to help babies turn and get in a good position. Also, if you can I would also make an appointment with a good chiropractor that specializes in pregnant women. It will help to make sure that your pelvis is in alignment which will help you with your VBAC. GL! (I know of a great one but they are in the Annapolis/Arnold area).
