DH and I are buying the snap and go for our infant seat (I think) but I was wondering if I should get another stroller for walks around the block, going to the trail or general shopping? Should I get one that handles a little bit better when not on even surfaces? Should I nix the snap and go all together?
If so, I'd need one that we can use the Graco Snugride 35 with it now and would be ok for later.
Obviously I won't be running with the infant seat but I was going to get a BOB later once I can run again with LO. Should I just wait and get that and do the snap and go for now? I'm so confused .
Re: Need stroller advice please
What kind of car do you have? Will a BOB fit into it for quick trips to the store and stuff? Were you planning on getting a BOB Revolution, or one with a permanently fixed front wheel?
If you can easily accommodate the BOB in your vehicle, and if you're budgeting for a Revolution, then I'd recommend you just go ahead and get the BOB now. Get the carseat bar for it and you can put your Snugride on it until your LO is big enough to sit in the stroller itself.
Although if you do decide to get the Snap 'n' Go, I can tell you it's also a great product. We used ours with both of our little men and loved it.
We got a travel system stroller and used that with the seat. We just recently got a joovy kooper (which I love!) which is for shopping trips, etc. - small and handles really well. Since we got the joovy kooper we don't use the travel system stroller anymore. Then, we also have a joovy 360 jogging stroller (check it out as an alternative to the BOB - it's AWESOME, great reviews, and much more affordable). I definitely would not want to use the jogging stroller for everyday use - the wide wheel base in the back is a pain in the butt.
If I had to do it over again - I would've just started with a snap and go instead of a travel system. But now I'm really happy with our stroller choices!

We have the snugride and we just have the BOB. I am satisfied with my choice still. We have plenty trunk space so we just keep the BOB in the car and I learned that I prefer to wear DD. She typically stays asleep when I transfer her between car seat and carrier.
I have a S60 Volvo. I think it has enough trunk space but I'm not sure about how easy it is to get in and out. DH has a SUV and I know it won't be a problem with his. I guess I need to try that out first.
DH will be doing the daycare pick up/drop offs but my car is usually the main car we take when we go out unless we know there is going to be a big purchase.
We got the snap-n-go as a gift and took it back because it was just one more piece of equipment that wasn't going to get used long enough to justify taking up any space. Sooooo... We just have the BOB (& used the infant car seat adapter until 6 mos.), and it's perfect for everyday use, walks around the block, running on the trails, etc. I take the BOB to the mall, etc. and have never had an issue with it being too bulky or wide in a store. Also, it's very easy to fold down and get in/out of the trunk! Love my BOB!
We had a snap&go and it was our only stroller until maybe 4-5 months ago. I will say that we hardly used it because DD hated to be strapped in her car seat while we were out & about so I usually ended up wearing her most of the time. The few times that we did use it for errands, walks, etc. it worked fine.
ETA: We bought a used S&G off Craigslist (for $30) and sold it for $30 so it was basically free.
