Neck fold rash? Anything help?

Dd's little neck folds are bright red :-( I try to clean that area every day, but apparently I'm not doing a very good job. Anyone know of anything I can put on it to help? Or, any other advice? Thanks :-)

    can you put a little diaper rash ointment there?

    Desitin. Essentially, it's a "diaper rash" of the neck. My little fattie used to get it a lot. I started putting desitin in the neck folds , and it cleared up immediately.

    pour a bit on your hands first, they arent suppose to be breathing it in. or vaseline.

    Make sure it's kept dry.  I've used baby powder (cornstarch-based, sprinkled on my hands and away from her face), and that seemed to help.

    Dr Smith's rash n all, it works so good for neck fold rash (and Diaper rash). I put it on my LO at night and the next day its almost gone!

    We finally had to get a prescription for DS's rash...the poweder would turn to a clumpy paste and the diaper rash cream would just dry up and not act as a barrier...DS is a drool bucket, so we finally had to call our Pedi and he said it was definately worse than he had seen before (leave it to my kid)...ever since the cream, his neck looks awesome! Its called Nyastin

    We used Butt Paste and it worked great. Also works really well for diaper rash.
