Mom Outrage over Youtube video

Hey Everyone,

 

 

This is my first time here. I'm a mom of a 2 year old girl! I came across this Youtube video from some friends at my child's daycare. It brought up a pretty controversial debate about whether this is wrong or not. Some of the others mothers just dismissed it as simply comedy and children acting.  It is called Stripper Hero and is a commercial paradoy (like from the makers of guitar hero...) and includes small children dancing on a pole and a little girl using foul language. It put me in such an outrage I had to share it. What do you all think? Am I overreacting?

    While I wouldn't let my child participate in a commercial such as this or allow my child to view a commercial such as this one, it's not up to me to be the commercial police either.  I don't think you are overreacting, this is not what children this age should be doing, hell children this age shouldn't even know about these things.  But at the same time, it is comedy, it's not for real, and while we may see it as wrong for these children, we can't make everyone think/feel that way.
