tags on toys

Do you cut them off? DD has started chewing on them since she's teething, and I'm wondering if she could get choked (yes, I'm a little paranoid).

    I look at the toys first to make sure the tags aren't loose, but no, I don't cut them off. In fact, DS loves the tags, they are his favorite part of the toy!  He also chews on them, but I just make sure he's supervised.

    My DD has loved the tags on toys for a while. She seems to have more fun chewing on the tags than anything else. I just leave them.

    We've started cutting off any tags that are longer than an inch... especially since she started shoving them half-way down her throat a few months ago! Anything shorter than that, unless it's starting to come off anyway, I'm not too concerned about.

    This exactly.  DS loves to feel the tags too.

    No way.  She enjoys chewing them.  Have you seen the taggy toys?  You may want to get one!  Lanie has two and loves them!
