AW: "What does stepmom mean?"

SS(6) asked me what "stepmom" meant. I asked him what he thought it meant. Here was his response:

"Like, you're a mom to me, just not the one who had me. You're not a fake mommy, but one that totally loves me anyway. You do everything the same as my mom, so you're just another mom. You love me, and I love you A LOT."

I told him that his definition was better than the one I could have given him.
