Ummmm Bloody show or to be expected after internal?

Had another internal today at noon, it's now 9:30, I just got back from a 4 mile walk to find dark red, thick mucus in my underwear and more in the toilet. The amount in my underwear was about the size of a Reese's cup. (sorry, strange comparison but it's the first thing I could think of!) So it wasn't just a little.This seems to fit the definition of bloody show...Did anyone else have this after an internal? I was told 'some bleeding' may occur but this is more than that...Not sure if I should be paying closer attention these next few days or what... thanks

mom said it is bloddy show. Did it look like brown or red snot? She said likely since he "reemed your cervix" which helps to release prostin which helps induce labor.

she said now to rest after that walk and see what happens and also gives you bumpy mommy hugs for a good labor.

I had bleeding but nothing like you're describing. Sounds like it could be your bloody show!

wow, crazy. I'll keep you girls posted, nothing going on yet. I'm going to try not to get my hopes up though.

Julie, did she say whether you can lose it and then not go into labor though?

yes, you can not go into labor right away since the bloody show might have been from the exam. once the capilaries heal it can go away. if it goes away then that's what it was form.

if it's labor, it will cintinue and you will get back aches and other symptoms. I hope it's labor soon!!
