WWYD? - regarding shoe size.

My parents took Taylor to Stride Rite about a month ago for her first pair of shoes. Got her home and she threw an absolute fit. And they left marks on her feet. We ended up having them take the shoes back and get those Robeez Tredz instead. Which I hate.

We tried Brooke's old Stride Rite's on her, a different pair than what they had original brought home for Taylor, one with more cushion. Plus, they were XW, not W. I'm wondering if maybe those first shoes hurt her feet that bad.

I need to order her shoes now because the Tredz aren't cutting it now that she's full on walking. Do I order the W that they measured her at or the XW? She seems more comfortable in them, but they said she's a wide...

Do you have another stride rite near you? I found the one closest to us were quite inexperienced and measured DS a whole size and a half larger than he needed. Maybe try a different store.

go to a few different stores and have them measure her feet. Payless measured Jake's feet...striderite doesn't have different sizes then normal-do they?
