moms who coupon

what are some good products to have on our hurricane list that are often on sale?

I was thinking about this the other day at Kroger when I saw they had the horizon milk boxes (the kind that don't need refrigeration) on sale 4/$5.  I know sometimes they go 10/$10 and I made a mental note to keep an eye out for that.

What are some other things you can think of?

Re: moms who coupon

  • The horizon milk is 10/$10 right now.  I need to think about this too since I have the pickiest eater in the world.
  • Not the healthiest option, but those little cans of spaghetti o's and stuff are good to keep on hand just in case.  DD doesn't eat them, but we have a few in case we need them in the even of a hurricane.

  • almond, thanks.  I was there Tuesday and the new sales weren't out yet.  I'm going to stock up a bit now!

crackers, raisins, dried fruit, cereal, juice boxes, stuff to make a toddler trail mix, peanut butter, granola bars, cereal bars.

I keep gogurt in the freezer.  The kids think it's a popcicle.

  • for the babies - diapers, wipes, baby food

for the toddlers - fruit cups (in addition to what has been mentioned)
