Pregnant after a Loss
Well I finally filed for divorce
I went to the courthouse 30 minutes early to be the first one to see the facilitator to help me fill out the papers only to find out she canceled on coming. So I had to drive 30 minutes to the next city to get assistance in filling them out. I then had to go back to my home city to file in my jurisdiction. I submitted the papers and was told they would be ready on Tuesday. If I had known the facilitator was going to cancel I would have gone this past Monday so I could have had him served by now. So now I am hoping to have him served on Tuesday next week, The divorce will be final 6 months from the date of him being served. I hope everything else goes smoothly from here on out. It's a huge relief to have the divorce started.

I haven't discussed custody with him at all. After being gone the first 2 1/2 weeks he finally admitted to cheating and being with the other woman. I have not had any contact with him since last Friday. I have asked him before then when we were going to get another chance to talk and he said he wasn't sure. I want to meet with him in person to discuss it because if he gets upset if we talk on the phone he will just hang up and I will get nowhere.
In my divorce papers I put down that he is to be responsible for the $3000 that he owes an online university, any existing bank accounts in his name, any credit cards or existing loans, his car and car payments and any medical bills in his name. I would be responsible for what incurred in my name. We do not have anything to split. I don't think there is anything worth fighting over and it just needs to be over. I have given him his stuff and he just needs to pick up a few more things. I hope that once he is served he does not contest it and just lets it go.
