BFers-- do you put pumping parts in dishwasher?

yep- we did not run the dw every night so we hand washed often, but if we were running it, threw them in top!

Yep, every now and again. Mostly, they are handwashed though.

Yep! have 3 sets of parts and we run the dishwasher every other day. I take the yellow membrane piece off and put it in the basket with the other bottle parts and wash everything. I try and use same set of parts all day and just refridgerate.

Yep! Not pumping anymore, but I did for 7 months and they were in the dishwasher every week night. So much easier.

I know that you can but we always hand washed to get into the nooks and crannies. We also the used a steam sterilizer which was prbably not necessary but made me feel more confident about things.

Yes, I almost always wash them in the dishwasher, so easy. I use the sterilizer function as a bonus.

With #1 - no. I hand washed.

With #2 - yep, always the dishwasher!

Yes, everything that's dishwasher safe I did. I guess that's pretty much the flanges and pumping bottles. Tubing doesn't need to be washed (Ameda pump). The valves and diaphragms are supposed to be washed in hot water and just swished around.
