When can I wear my ring again?

I had to take my wedding ring off about a month ago, and I miss is so much! Especially since lately I have only gotten to see my husband on the weekends, and won't get to see him regulary probably until August (explained in previous post). I switched to a ring I inherited from my grandmother that was alway big, but even that's starting to get tight. Can anyone tell me when this swelling will start to go down, and I might get to wear my beloved ring again?

After your baby is born and after swelling from fluids during deliver goes away..maybe a couple of weeks pp.

Certainly not before birth. Other than that, there's no way to know when you can put it back on. I have a cousin whose son was born in August and she still can't wear her ring. Other people lose the fluid much quicker.

I wouldn't count on it til at least 3 weeks after delivery.

I think I put mine back on about 2 wks postpartum, but I probably should have waited a little longer. I am one that likes to remove my rings for dishes and showers, and I could not get them back off once I shoved them on.

A couple of weeks after your LO arrives you should be able to wear it again.

I didn't have to take my rings off with DS until I was being wheeled into the OR for my unplanned c-section. I had them back on within a week PP.

Im at almost 8 weeks pp and cant wear mine for long. I freak out and take it off because Im scared it will get stuck on. THe humidity isnt helping the cause either

I feel really lucky. Mine still fits and is not snug or anything. Blessed to not have gotten swollen yet. We'll see if I'll make it to the end! Haha

you'll probably be able to after a couple weeks.

With my first child I actually had to have my engagement ring sawed off my finger at the hospital because my finger started to turn purple. I believe I was able to wear it again after 3 weeks but then again I also had to take it in to get fixed before I could wear it again.

I can't tell you when the swelling might go down, sorry. I'm in the same place. So i got a nice chain and started wearing them around my neck. That way i always have them with me.
