family-versary!

Griffin and I were away from DH for over 2 weeks, so we have decided that for our anniversary tonight that we would forgo the babysitter and all 3 of us would spend some quality time together.  I just have no clue as to what we are going to do.  I want to go somewhere kid friendly but am afraid that a place like Chuck E Cheese is going to be a madhouse on a Friday night.  I thought about maybe bowling, but think a bowling alley would be crazy too.  Anyone have any ideas?  I am open to anything.  DH will be home from work around 6.

    The weather is so beautiful....what about someplace that has outside dining?  Or pack a picnic and head to a park.  If you can hold off for a day, Balloon Glow is going on at Coney Island tomorrow night.  There's about 25 hot air balloons that inflate at sundown and then are all lit up.  It's really neat.  Lots of people bring food, chairs, blankets, coolers, etc.  Happy Anniversary!!!

    off for a day, Balloon Glow is going on at Coney Island tomorrow night.  There's about 25 hot air balloons that inflate at sundown and then are all lit up.  It's really neat.  Lots of people bring food, chairs, blankets, coolers, etc.  Happy Anniversary!!!

    Thats a fantastic idea!  We may do something close to home tonight and head to Coney tomorrow.  Thanks!

    The event is free.  If you park at Coney I think you have to pay to park.  We've parked at River Downs the last few years without problem and we've never paid.  Now that I say that, we'll end up paying.  Oh well!
