argh - party prep vent

I know there are much, much bigger problems in the world, but I have to vent.

I went to Party City to get balloons for Ella's party - six each of aqua, yellow, and fuschia.

One of the fuschia ones popped in the car (talk about heart attack), and now one of the aqua ones popped, three minutes after I walked in the door. At this rate, I won't have any balloons left tomorrow!

Grrr.

    Bummer!  FWIW, I bought plain colored balloons at Meijer and then a helium kit too.  It was like $25 or so.

    Darn. This makes me wish I'd really put more effort into A's party and decorating!  all those balloons will look awesome. I hope they survive until tomorrow!

    When do you get the rest of the pics back..?!

    Meh, I only spent $8 total so it's not even the money, it's the time it took to go there.

    Kathy, I am so not into the party. I got balloons to make myself feel better about not putting more effort into it. :) I wish I would have planned for pop-age and gotten 30 balloons!

    Charles' Law--when temperature increases, so does the volume of the balloon!  There, I've used my brain for the week! Wink  Bummer though!

    I hadn't thought about using balloons for easy but impressive party decor.  Why am I trying to make this as hard as possible?  Can't wait to see your pics! =)
