My brake lights came on the other day so I took my car in. The mechanic is a friend of my dad's and at first glance he said my brakes were pretty much shot. This did not surprise me since it has been a while since it has been serviced... So I was prepared (both financially and mentally) to pay a bit of money to get it fixed.
Well, now they find a leak coming from my gas tank! If it is just the seal then it will be ok... BUT if it is coming from the gas tank itself it could cost me $2500!!!
So let?s run through the stats:
I am almost 9 months pregnant, my husband was arrested for being a pervert, I lost half my income, the mortgage is due soon and my car could cost me everything I have right now... Can I catch a break please??
Ugh, vent over.
Re: XP: Karma, what did I do? (money issues)
I'm sorry! When it rains it poors.
I'm sorry your husband is a perv. You are a very strong women and will be a great mom.
That is all you can do.
I love your blog also. I'm sure it helps put words to your feelings.
it ALWAYS (and still sometimes does) felt that way when ds was little (actually up until db started having income withholding from his paychecks) because he refused to help pay for anything.
it WILL/DOES get better! i promise! and sometimes it will feel that you can never get a break but that time you do, you will feel awesome!
p.s. ask them if they can just patch the leak (my dad told me they can do this when they thought that that was what was wrong with my car)...it's a lot cheaper!

Hey, beccaga16, I'm having a little girl in October and I plan on naming her Chloe too! I love that name!
I am so sorry ((hugs)).
It WILL get better I promise. We have all been at this low point before and honestly, sometimes it lasts awhile. Unfortunately you have to just keep on trucking to get out. I like the saying "if you're going through H3LL you have to keep on going through it in order to get out".
