if you had chemical burn from pampers..

How did you know? I know this may seem like a stupid question. We just switched to baby dry pampers and this morning O has redness between his creases on his thighs.

Last night he pooped in his diaper. He STTN so his diaper wasn't changed till this morning. I didn't know he pooed other wise I would have changed it. So now I can't decide, is the redness due to sleeping in a poop diaper or chemical burn?

I put some destin on the redness in case was just diaper rash and that seemed to help but I still can't stop wondering if it just the diaper its self. Any advice?

    I'm pretty sure Baby Dry does not have drymax in them so they would not cause the chemical burns. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the swaddlers and cruisers are the only ones with the drymax in them.

    It was like a really bad diaper rash. It looked like I didnt change my baby for days... It was blistered. and very sad

    ETA: it wasnt on her thighs, only on her girl parts.

    Baby dry is the line without drymax.  *it is what I switched too after Colin suffered the burns.*  I would say the redness is from the overnight dirty diaper.   I would clean it really well and put destin/cream on it and see if it goes away.  You will know if it is a burn because no matter how often/well you change them the red gets worse until it turns into blisters.

    I didn't know that the drymax was a chemical add in. I thought it was an extra pad or something? anyway- after applying the destin the redness is completely gone. I feel so bad that he slept in a poop diaper.

    I thought that they all had the chemicals in them.  I would switch to another diaper until it clears up and then try the pampers again.  That should give you a clear answer on whether or not the pampers are causing the burn.

    Please tell me which Pampers causes the chemical burn??? I use Pampers the ones with elmo on it and it has never made any type of rashes but please let me know so I can watch it. Thanks

    The package will say with Dry Max on it.  The new Swaddlers and Cruiser lines have it.
