Hospital recommendations in Brooklyn / lower Manhattan?

Hi there,

I live in Carroll Gardens and am wondering if anyone has recommendations for delivery hospitals in Brooklyn or lower Manhattan. New York Methodist vs NYU, for instance? Thanks so much.

    We had our 1st at Beth Israel (which is on 16th & 1st) and had a great experience. We will be having our 2nd there also.

    My doc is affiliated with both NYM & NYU and he strongly recommended NYU so that it where I will be delivering. I took the tour but have nothing to compare it to because it's my 1st child.
