Saw N for the first time since BMT started!
Hey all!
Just thought I'd post real quick since I haven't been able to get on much and won't really be on the next couple of days. We got to see N today for the first time in 2 months! His flight kept telling me about how he is always talking about me and missed me, it was nice to hear. M was so good through everything, but every time N went to pick her up or talk to her, she would start crying hysterically. I felt really bad for him, he was able to soothe her before he left (better than I was) and now she is uncertain about him. It has to be hard to miss her and then she wants nothing to do with him. 
Well, lots coming up the next 4 days. I'll let everyone know how it goes and if anything significant happens. Haha.
PS. sorry for the excessive use of the word "him."

Just a lurker, but I can answer your question and it makes prefect sense to me. He just finished up basic training in the Air Force. BMT=Basic Military Training. A flight is the group of people you go through basic training with. Once you become immersed in all the military jargon in becomes second nature. My sister finished up BMT in December.
Do you guys know how long and where he will be for Tech school? That has been the worst part for some of my friends and family members.

First, if you want my backstory, go look at the boards starting in Dec./Jan. I've been here for some time...
ElizC - He will be gone until Nov. this year so another 4 months. Then he is stationed back home to finish more training for another year. It's going to be tough since he can't see M, but it'll be okay. It gives him more time to think about what's important ;-)

I am glad it's going good...I have been thinking about you! I hope you are able to have fun and enjoy the time with N and hopefully you two won't put too much energy into the future. Just enjoy the time you and M are spending with him.
BTW: I seriously LOVED the pic of M sleeping on your lap at the grad ceremony. She has got the most kissable, squeezeable cheeks!
