Tell me yor RNP success stories.

I just went and bought one thanks to you ladies. DD has AR and we have been putting her in the car seat or vibrating seat at night. Some nights she will eat and go right back to sleep other nights he is up for 2 hours at a time. She is fussing or just ansy/figdety like she can't get comfortable. Can't wait to try out the RNP tonight.

Re: Tell me yor RNP success stories.

  • I looked in the glossary but these weren't there.  What is RNP & AR?  Thanks.

  • The RNP is the best thing we have bought for DS.  It is amazing how well he sleeps in it.  He has severe AR this thing has actually helped him sleep through the night most nights for the past couple of weeks.  Sleeping him on his back was a complete joke and even the swing only bought us 2 or 3 hours at a time.  The first night we put him in the RNP he slept 6 hours straight. Last night he slept from 9:30 PM until 5:00 AM and then slept from 6:00 AM until 9:15 AM.

The position of the RNP also helps keep him from choking and aspirating when he spits up while he is sleeping.  He has tried to choke a couple of times but, since he was upright, he was able to clear it mostly himself and I have only had to turn him over and whack him on the back one time.  Now we sleep him upright AND on his side and it's really easy to position him properly in the RNP.

  • The RNP is the best thing I could have bought for Lucy. Her AR was really bad, and the Zantac she was on seemed to only be helping a bit-but with the RNP she is able to sleep for long stretches without being awakened by her AR....truly it is a lifesaver! I hope you have just as much luck with it!
  • It looks like there is a lot of fabric up around the baby's head.  It doesn't pose a higher SIDS risk?

  • the sides are mesh so they are breathable.

And Ds sleeps best in his RNP,  he cant lay down on his back for at least 2 hours after eating or he spits up so i always put him in there.  It has been a godsend, I hope it works as well for you!

  • LO doesn't have AR, but she did have major issues sleeping at night. She would only sleep 2 hours then be up all night! I ordered one and last night was the first night with it! She slept from 10pm-430am, and 6am-11am!! I LOVE IT!

The mesh part is not around the baby's head so that's is why I am questioning it.
