DD is 8 months today!
She is not crawling yet and no teeth but she is interested more in standing and holding on to dear life to anything like the couch cushions or me. She can kind of hold her own bottle, she can find her favorite ball that I hide under her blocks, loves books, can wave but with her full arm - love that!
She can almost do the pincer grab with her fingers and feeds herself sometimes but not all the time. We are working on that
Now, your turn, brag about your kid here
Re: Brag about your 8 months old :)
Zachary is 8 months today too! Happy 8 month birthday to your DD
I took him in for a weight check today, and he was 14 lbs, 14 oz. I was hoping he had doubled his birthweight, but he has another 6 oz to go.
He crawled for the first time yesterday - just a little bit, but he did it! I was so excited I had tears in my eyes. I can't believe he's so big. He also pulled himself up from sitting to standing all by himself for the first time this week while he was at his babysitter's house. I was bummed that I didn't get to see it, but I am so proud of him!
I seriously think that I love him a little more each day. Being a mommy is the coolest thing ever
Jaxson can roll like a champ but hasn't started crawling yet. He does manage to roll enough to get around though. He can pinch and feed himself pretty well. He is getting very interested in foods that I eat. He started saying "dadadada" two weeks ago. My DH is glowing over that.
Overall, Jax is just such a happy baby. So sweet and innocent. I sure do love my little guy!
DS has two bottom teeth. He's crawling like he's been doing it forever. He's just starting to try to pull himself up. He's eating all kinds of finger foods.
The only thing he's not doing is sleeping through the night. But he's close.
Oh I can totally top you all!
DD walks, has 8 teeth and four words
?
of course she is almost a year
?
Okay, I love bragging about my baby!!! He is crawling like a mad man, walking holding onto furniture, standing by himself for a few seconds. He really wants to walk. He loves his toys and books. Yesterday, I said "Connor where is your ball?" and he crawled to it and picked it up and then I said "where is your book?" and he went and got a book. I don't know if it was lucky guessing, or if he really understood what I was saying. He is still not sttn, but oh well. We're used to it by now. He has been saying mama forever and he said dada for the first time tonight. We're working on waving and clapping.
