NBR: Ideas needed - 30th b-day present
My SIL, who I love - I feel like I need to qualify that around these parts 
, is turning 30 in a couple of weeks and I am drawing blanks on what to get her. She loves all things girly and I would like it to be more creative than a gift card. If you were turning 30 what would you want? Or do you have any ideas just for this?

Does she have a favorite line of makeup? What about a cool long necklace? A day at the spa (you know, because she's getting old)..?

My girlfriends went in on a spa treatment for me when I turned 30 and it was AWESOME!

I have an unnatural attraction to office supplies and things that are sparkly...it was a perfect combo!
Lucky for you, they are commercially available! I got a set for Melody for her birthday a couple years ago - there was a stapler, tape dispenser, and mouse. It was fabulous.

I agree that a day at a spa is wonderful. For my 30th I went and saw a Cirque de soleil show, do they have any of those in Portland?
My best friend lives in Portland and used to teach in Salem, if you would like I can ask her about spas in that area.
